Oracle AIA Foundation Pack Utilities and Tools

My earlier post on SOA Content and Technical Governance using AIA Foundation Pack show cased how design time utilities and tools – such as the PIP Auditor and XSL Mapping Analyzer (a.k.a. ‘XMAN’) – encourage deep implementation SOA governance, for both, content interoperability and technical compliance.

The Application Integration Architecture Foundation Pack Utilities and Tools white paper (December 2009) follows up with more details on the above mentioned (and other) useful tools. You can download these tools from the AIA Wiki page and start using them in your implementations today!

  2. Hi Rajesh,

thanks for the update. I need to learn this please suggest me who I need to do. whether to start going through any documents or any help online or any training material which I need to go through. Please help.

    • Refer to this post from one of our partners which gives more documentation on the tool.

Note that the EBO mapping spreadsheets for the Oracle developed Process Integration Packs (PIPs) are already delivered via My Oracle Support – you only need to run the tool for custom mappings or new integration flows that you have developed using the Foundation Pack (FP) and Enterprise Business Objects (EBO).

For more details, please feel free to use the OTN AIA forums where our developers will be able to help you more.

      Regards,
      Rajesh

      • Hi Rajesh,
Need help on the customization of the PIP(Agile -SAP PIP). I know the functionality of the PIP but I am new to Technicalities of the PIP and I am asked to do the customization(Extension) on Agile-SAP PIP. I have no clue how to start this and where to change the code and how to deploy.
        Please help me on this.

        Thanks,
        Aravind

      • I would strongly recommend getting consulting resources who are experienced in SOA technologies such as BPEL, XML and Web Services technologies.
